Description
Have walks become an absolute nightmare for you and your dog? Are you struggling to hold it together when they bark? This online workshop is for you.
Walks have become something you dread and put off. You’re spending a small fortune on enclosed fields because you can’t handle the unpredictability of the real world. You know what you should be doing on paper, but it all seems to go out of the window in the moment and more often than not you feel guilty or just plane exhausted.
After this 90 mins workshop you will understand what is happening for you and your dog in those moments of overwhelm, and more importantly, will have real strategies and techniques you can use to help.
And if you’re neurodivergent (diagnosed or not) and find dog training advice doesn’t quite work for your brain or your nervous system, you are not alone.
This workshop isn’t about fixing you or your dog. It is about understanding what is happening and learning how to respond.
In this live workshop we will cover:
- What’s actually happening in both of your nervous systems during reactive moments
- Why overwhelm makes everything harder, and why it’s not your fault
- How to recognise early warning signs
- Simple, realistic regulation tools
- How to recover afterwards and reduce the guilt/burnout/exhaustion spiral

A note from me:
I created this workshop because I know what it is like to care deeply about your dog and feel like you are failing them because you get overwhelmed. You are not broken and neither is your dog.
The way we are taught to handle these situations often doesn’t work for neurodivergent brains or sensitive nervous systems. So this isn’t another ‘how to’ from a dog trainer, this is a workshop about doing things differently.
