Welfare-first dog walking, pet sitting, cat visits and equine care in Warminster, Westbury, Frome & surrounding villages.
At More Than Human, every animal is treated as an individual with emotional, physical and behavioural needs.
We provide force-free, relationship-led, welfare-focused care, grounded in science and delivered with heart.
 

Dog Walking

Group Walks

  • Small groups for safety, comfort and welfare.
  • 1 hour group walk – dog will be out of the house for at least 60 mins 
  • Actual walking time 45-60 mins 
  • Dogs matched on temperament, personality, age etc.
Dogs must be:
  • 1 year old
  • Well socialised (if not, see solo walks/enclosed field socialisation)
  • Comfortable in a small group

Solo Adult Dog Walks

For dogs who prefer 1:1 attention or need a gentler pace.
Ideal for seniors, reactive dogs or dogs with greater needs. 
 

Drop-In Visits

Suitable for dogs, cats, puppies, small animals & multi-species households.
Includes:
  • Toilet break 
  • Feeding
  • Enrichment
  • Cuddles
  • Welfare check.

Daycare can also be arranged in the owners home.

Puppy Care (under 1 year)

Gentle, age-appropriate support focused on welfare, routine and emotional development.
Puppies must be fully vaccinated before being walked
 
Puppy Welfare Guidelines
 
Walking: 1–2 sessions of 5 minutes per month of age
(e.g. a 5-month-old puppy = max 25 minutes)
 
Toilet breaks:
1 month = every hour
2 months = every 2 hours
3 months = every 3 hours
4 months = every 4 hours
… and so on.

Minimum booking: 1 hour
 
If you have specific routine requirements, please get in touch to discuss your horse’s needs.
 

House/Farm Sitting

For dogs, cats, horses & multi-species homes.
 
We follow your pet’s normal routine and provide full overnight care.
 
Price is negotiable for more animals/longer stays. 

Booking Terms

  • 50% non-refundable deposit required to secure your dates
  • Remaining balance due 7 days before the booking (non-refundable)
  • Pets will never be left for more than 4 hours at a time, unless a bespoke plan is agreed based on their welfare needs
  • For pets with medical or behavioural needs, please contact us for a personalised quotation.

Our Welfare Commitment

We use positive reinforcement, consent-based handling and force-free methods only.
 
We will not use or accept:

✘ spray or noise aversives
✘ punishment-based techniques
 
If asked to use aversive tools or methods, we will politely decline.
